Need more Metro Station with less whispery Trace Cyrus vocals but just as much synthesized rock? Then Check out Montreal natives The Mission District.

Heartbreaker and So Over You are sure to be hits.

The Bigger Lights Full-Length "Fiction Fever" In Stores April 7

Formed in 2007, The Bigger Lights (taken from Shakespeare's "The Tempest") have an infectious energetic sound that draws equal comparison to pop and arena rock. The Bigger Lights have made significant strides in the last year. Their self-produced EP Third Act Stories was released in November of 2007 and soon after the group signed with indie powerhouse Doghouse Records (The All-American Rejects, Say Anything) in the summer of 2008, less than one year after forming.

Standout tracks from The Bigger Lights include The Chemicals of You and Goldmine Valentine.

Currently on the road with NeverShoutNever! on the Let’s Get Happy Tour, The Bigger Lights are playing acoustic on this particular trek.

The Bigger Lights’ Fiction Fever is available now on iTunes and in retail stores April 7th.

The Maine "Girls Do What they Want"

Girls Do What They Want

In terms of churning out bubble-gum pop-rock to the tweens, it doesn't get more horribly cliche than The Maine. You know sometimes I get The Maine confused with All Time Low because both are pop-punk and both lead singers have emo-scene hair. But you have to give All Time Low a pat on the back for its effortless attempts to churn out publicity in the past (remember that underwear photo?)

Anyway, the video is a candid look into the band's daily life, from the van, to the shows, to hanging out with the fans afterward. Compelling, I know.

Closure in Moscow 'First Temple' coming May 5

Closure in Moscow, a recent addition to Equal Vision's star roster, arrived in the US in January from Melbourne, Austrailia to work on their debut full-length "First Temple" with producer, Kris Crummett.

"First Temple", a collection of 12 songs is scheduled for a May 5th release on Equal Vision Records.

Closure in Moscow came to the US in 2007 to tour with Saosin, and eventually caught the eye of the editors at AP. CIM delive a unique, catchy prog-rock sound that's both melodic and innovative.

Closure in Moscow will play SXSW and have also been confirmed for high profile festivals Bamboozle in May and the SoCal counterpart, Bamboozle Left in April. Further tour dates to be announced.

Welcome

I'm so excited that my website is finally up. I'll be updating here frequently when my clips get published and to blog not only about updates on the site but about current events and issues as well.

Here's my Underoath show review from the Terminal 5 show in Manhattan on Oct 26.

Underoath's lead singer Spencer Chamberlain is one of the hardest singers I ever had to shoot. Not only was I getting sprayed with sweat from his hair (this is typical and expected of lead singers) but he jumps around the stage like a maniac. I have more photos that I may be posting on here as well.
